Yanchep National Park Wedding ~ Chrissy & Cam
Meet Chrissy and Cam. My first Bride & Groom to have their wedding reception in a CAVE!
The fist few images in this blog are from Chrissy & Cam’s Engagement shoot in Fremantle, Western Australia, a few months before the wedding. Fremantle is teeming with tasteful graffiti, amazing street art, and rugged urban backdrops. Perfect for me!
The wedding was in October last year, at Yanchep National Park, also in Western Australia (obviously!).
The ceremony took place by the side of a stunning lake, and reception was in the incredible Cabaret Cave.
The bridesmaid’s had HUGE red round balloons. The bride also carried a large balloon, but hers was clear with lots of small red balloons inside it! What a beautiful addition to the day they proved to be. The bridal party released all their balloons simultaneously, after the ceremony, it was a beautiful sight…
They had by far the most unique wedding cake I have ever seen… it was a “two-faced” cake, one side for the bride and one side for the groom, each showing their careers. Very original!
Chrissy & Cam didn’t want to bother with a traditional 1st dance, but Chrissy more than made up for it by busting some shapes with her bridesmaids!
They decided to have my PHOTO BOOTH during the reception in the cave. The guests LOVED wearing my silly fancy dress props and outfits! I may have jumped in front of the camera for one of these shots!
We finished the evening much like we always do, with a night shot. This was, however, the first time we attempted a night shot of this kind, not using light wands or sparklers, simply a flash gun. We rather like the effect it created!
As always, we love to hear what you think about this wedding!
