Becks & Rich's Wedding at Dodford Manor

I knew Rebecca before she asked me about the possibility of being her wedding Photographer. I work with her in my other life as an Engineer at JaguarLandRover! Yes, you read that right, I have 2 jobs! Keeps me out of trouble, hey?  I won’t lie, I felt kinda nervous when she first asked me.  My mind raced away…what if she doesn’t like my style? How will I deal with having to see her at work? Well, I need not have worried. Right from the first meeting with Rebecca and Richard I felt relaxed. They had clearly poured over my portfolio and really liked my approach. Very quickly it was Becks I was talking to, not Rebecca from work with our Engineer hats on 🙂

The venue they chose for the ceremony & reception was the beautiful country house barn of Dodford Manor. It really is stunning, and surrounded by green rolling vistas. The sun even put in an appearance. What more could you ask for? Oh, I know…  amazing food. Check! They got that as well, and they even fed me and my amazing second shooter Jessica.

The day ran perfectly. The emotional moments started pretty early when Beck’s Dad saw her in her amazing wedding dress for the first time. Mind you he soon got over the soppy feelings when Beck’s stole his beer later on 🙂

Thanks to everybody who made us feel so welcome all day, you really were a lovely bunch.
