Pregnancy Shoot in Perth, Australia ~ Diane & Claudio

    As most of you know, we don’t blog many pregnancy shoots, and to be honest that is a real shame! They are often the best example of good photogrpahy, not to mention, usually a good laugh. So we thought we’d be a little different and blog our favourite pregnancy shoot we have ever done! Meet Diane and Claudio… These two are actually great friends of ours. I coincidentally first met Diane at a Photogrpahy workshop in Birmingham back in 2013 (Diane is also a photographer), run by the talented Steve Gerrard Photography. We lost touch for a while until we realised that we had both moved to Perth, Australia, within a few months of each other! Small world! Once we all clicked we were in Oz, we decided to catch up, and we hit it off straight away! We became great friends, and shared many, many laughs! I love the way that happens… D&C then made a very happy announcement: A baby was on its way! YAY! I can still hear Cassie’s shriek of excitement when she heard the news! Of course, with news like that, we knew there would be plenty of photo opportunities, and thankfully Diane and Claudio did not disappoint! Cassie planned a baby shower for Diane, which took place on a gloriously sunny day at Hyde park. She organised lots of funny games for all to play with lots of bubbly prizes to be won. There was “guess how many jelly beans in the baby bottle”, “guess the baby food” and of course, “guess the size of the bump”.  Make sure you find the photo of this below, Claudio WAY over-estimated the size of his wives bump… and I mean WAY! The baby bump photo session took place a few weeks later in October 2014. We walked around Perth CBD and the Perth foreshore, to get some gorgeous photos showing off both the bump and beautiful Perth. D&C wanted to have a relaxing, fun, no serious poses shoot, showing off Australia as their new home. Diane and Claudio were a perfect example of how a fun, relaxed couple in a gorgeous setting, can create some amazing bump photos, that aren’t cheesy or corny! Both the baby shower and bump shoots offered perfect opportunities to take some amazing photos. Do you agree? Thanks for reading, Andy
